We have a fantastic EAP program that provides services and training regularly. I recently attended a training on change and transition and the following quotes stuck out to me:
“In a world of discovery, instead of blind certainty, we can relax and let go of our need for things to be a certain way.”
“The only thing we know about the future is that it is going to be different”
“By replacing fear of the unknown with curiosity we open ourselves up to an infinite stream of possibility. We can let fear rule our lives or we can become childlike with curiosity, pushing our boundaries, leaping out of our comfort zones, and accepting what life puts before us.” -Alan Watts
Change: Verb- To replace (something) else, especially something of the same kind that is newer or better; substitute one thing for (another).
Change is inevitable, it helps us grow. Embracing makes it easier.
